3* Guest Lodge with 14 rooms/ conference & wedding venue requires an experienced and suitably qualified Duty/Reservations Assistant/F&B Supervisor who has worked in a similar position for min 2-3yrs. Will include Duty Manager responsibilities, be second in charge of Reception and Reservations including making bookings, answering emails, guest relations. Will oversee the 36 seater restaurant, training of waitrons, beverage stock takes & control.
Duties include assisting in all aspects of reservations, income schedule and invoices. Check in/out of guests, processing of guest accounts & related administration. Additional duties include assisting with Banqueting/conferences and co-ordinating weddings. Duty manager responsibilities every second weekend. Required to oversee restaurant & waitron staff & ensure smooth running of restaurant. Control Liquor & Beverage stock. All applicants to have a Hospitality related diploma, minimum of 2-3 years previous working experience in hotels or lodges (3-4*) & be PC literate. Must be systems oriented & have excellent managerial, administrative & communicational skills. Experience in using Innkeeper an advantage. Must be able to work shifts and will be req occasionally to assist in restaurant. Ability to speak/understand Zulu and advantage.
