Job purpose of Banqueting Co-coordinator:
Plan, organize and coordinate all events.
To continually seek ways to maximize profits and revenues by up-selling other facilities and services.
Plan and oversee food, beverage and entertainment events held at restaurants, hotels, convention centers or resorts.
Spend time in each event to ensure it runs smoothly and to offer any support and assistance if needed.
Establish rapport with guests maintaining effective guest relations.
Prepare and ensuring all bookings are accurate.
Intense client liaison.
Assist finance in following up on payments and invoices.
- Diploma/ Degree from a reputable hotel school
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Team and goal orientated
- Ability to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Must be able to work on Opera
