Head Chef required for small, luxury beach resort, catering for a maximum of 50 guests. This is a 2 year contract. Minimum of an IVQ 2 International Diploma, police clearance and traceable references required for visa and work permits.
Start date is 1st September. This position is for a single person only.
This is a great opportunity at a beautiful location with a good existing team in place. You must have good leadership and people skills and be respectful of culture. We are looking for someone who can maintain the standards already in place, has a passion for cuisine and can patiently pass on skills to the existing chefs and enjoy the role.
Must be able to lead the kitchen and deal with irregular supplies. Must enjoy living in an isolated area. Must be able to manage stock/ cost controls and food hygiene standards. A small herb and vegetable garden has recently been established and would be the responsibility of the chef to keep maintained. Above all, be flexible, be a team player and have a abundance of patience.
