The Ozti technician will be expected to do the following:
Field Service: - Attend to call out services as instructed by the technical manager. - Carry out all aspects of equipment repair and fault finding in e.g. refrigeration units, gas & electrical cooking equipment, extraction units, bar and laundry equipment. - Do on site repairs, job card management and customer relations. - Manage the mobile service vehicle, inspect and keep all tools clean, be responsible for the vehicle, equipment, spares and tools the vehicle carries. - Work together with the service team and perform all services and preventive maintenance as required - Manage service crew.
Installation: - Work with installation crew on various projects preparing and installing new equipment. - Manage and be responsible for the crew, tools and consumables on all installations. - Work together with the technical manager on installations, planning and organizing installations.
General duties - Perform all duties in the workshop as assigned by the technical manager. - Assist the technical manager with engineering done on site, doing site inspection etc. - Reports to be written on request, preventive maintenance logs kept up to date and changes or issues discussed with the designer and the technical manager. - Liaise and report daily to the technical manager to discuss the current maintenance, services and daily work to be done.
Qualities the candidate should possess: - Must be able to speak and write English - Technical qualifications in refrigeration and gas equipment, and an electrical qualification will be preferred. - Aprox 5 years practical experience - Computer literate - semi - Valid vehicle drivers license - The candidate should be physically and mentally fit. - Preference would be given to candidates that are single with no dependants. - Must have no current liabilities - Must have a clean police reference - Aged 25 to 35 - Must be prepared to sign a minimum 2 year contract after a 2 month trial period
